Garmin Testing

Garmin Testing

Being able to test for Garmin is EASILY one of the coolest things I've ever done and I'm so honoured that I'm able to be part of the team. It's so neat.

I do run tests for them - usually I just to the basic ones but I can also do the interval/hill ones if I signed up for them. So to test for them, I go to the Garmin centre in Cochrane, they hook me up with 3 - 4 watches (I'm wearing 2 and holding 2), I stay there for 2 minutes so the heart rate can calibrate then I go for a run! Usually about 40 mins. Then I go back and hang out for 3 minutes for my heart rate to go back to normal or reduce.

It's so cool.

The watches I test are all prototypes so sometimes they don't work perfectly but HOLY HELL are they pretty. I can't wear the fenix's because my wrists are too small but I test the 235s with new software and some 750s.

I've done it 5 times already - yes there's some perks for me but I do it because:

  1. I love Garmin
  2. I'm a Garmin nerd and I really dig this stuff
  3. I'm going to run anyways
  4. Why the F not??

I am so happy to do this. It is such an amazing company.

If you wanna follow or see what I do with my fancy Garmin and all the sexy watches I get to test theres a fancy new GARMIN click box on my blog.
